Had a comfortable stay in a cozy cabin-style room with an amazing view of our cruise ship. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Just a few maintenance issues like wood rot in the bathroom were noticeable, but overall it felt homey and charming.

The hotel personnel were pleasant and accommodating.
My stay at Hotel Puerto Mayor was incredibly disappointing. The room I was given was outdated and clearly in need of maintenance. several light bulbs and power outlets didn’t work.

Half amazing, half disappointing
The restaurant at the top offered spectacular views and the breakfast was cooked to order. The rooms resembled charming little cabins and we enjoyed watching our cruise ship from the deck
Though staff were friendly, we had a hiccup with the toilet that required a room change which disrupted our stay. The new room had a smaller bed and uncomfortable mattress

The kids loved the family room! It was spacious and perfect for us all. The area allowed us to surf the web easily while relaxing, and we found great local activities nearby that kept everyone entertained during our stay.
In my wife’s opinion, the pool area could be better suited for families with children.

The location is ideal for cruise travelers and within walking distance to the port. Breakfast exceeded expectations with scrambled eggs, meats, and local organic fruits. However, the bathroom showed mild issues around the shower area, and the property feels a bit outdated, signaling a need for some renovations.

Great Views and Local Flavor
Really enjoyed my stay! The local hosts were super friendly and made me feel at home. Breakfast was a highlight—so many tasty options! Plus, loved the picnic area for chilling out. The only thing was the bathroom could use a bit of sprucing up. Overall, a solid spot for a short trip!
